Don't think these shots are from Ultra DVD ??

See BOMBAY and half (or may be all the way) the way TO GOA on Ultra DVD. It's PAL and most likely it's a direct Film to PAL. Pleasantly found it PAL Progressive but only for half the feature (No Combimng in Force Weave mode).

Ignore the following comment that's in quotes:
Quote:
For Progressive displaying:
Remainder half gives combing in all frames. Perhaps a missed field in DVD authoring/ transferring. If so, a pixel comparing routine can join the proper fields together for Progressive conversion if wanted.

On a second look, it's obvious that the first half of the feature is Direct Film to PAL and is Progressive and very good PQ. 2nd half is crap video source. No chance of converting that 2nd half to Progressive.

Indeed rana! first half is prog and second half where AB (ugly self lol) shows up, is interlaced :o :o

I'll submit some SS, it was nice to see Aruna Irani, mainlead against B, as pretty soon, we will see her playing her MUM to 70 years old BUM

3922 meters should be 143 min (90 ft per min). Assuming PAL transfer, DVD should have been 137 min. But, Ultra DVD is just 120-122 min. First half is PAL Progressive decent print and the second half is 10th generation VHS standard.
