Has anyone ever seen this gem? It was shown on Sky a while ago, totally cropped but still as hilarious as the first time I saw it. Munawar Zareef is hysterical.

Its a pity we don't get his movies on DVD. Really funny guy. Reminded me of Jerry Lewis in Punjabi

I would like to see this film as Naukar Biwi Ka is a copy of this film, although I heard Dharmendra was not half as funny as the Pakistani hero.

Do you know which Sky channel it comes on?

About old Pakistani films, I only seen 3 or 4. I wonder if any of them are available on DVD?:

Jogi
Naraaz
Heer Raanja
Pakeeza

I think it was ATN. Right now that channel is obsessed with NASEEB.

Munawar Zareefs oneliners are what make the movie great. His scene with the movie directors alone make this make a must see

Naukar Biwi Ka was a direct copy of a pakistani punjabi film called Naukar Wohti Da. Reena Roy's role was modified to incorporate disco numbers like Kya Naam Hai Tera with Rishi Kapoor, but the classical song O Mere Sajna at end when she dies performing her last dance was a direct copy from the pakistani film.

'Naukar Biwi Ka' comes no where close to 'Nakar Woti Da' in comedy, specially for those who understand Punjabi.

The best line, that I liked was the film ending line when the hero brings his bride home to his mother and in response to his mother's querry says (something like this):

"Oye, ae koi aata mangan waali te nein, meri woti ae".

Actually, this DVD was among my "To Look For" list but never came across this DVD. (I do have it on VHS but print is among the worst VHSs that I have).
As you reminded me, I googled this title DVD and was pleasantly surprised to see it's available.
