Title Hum Tumpe Marte Hai
Description Govinda, Urmila
Director
Brand/Distributor VideoSound
Genre Film, Comedy, Romantic, Drama
Category dvd
Features
Year 1999
No English Subtitles

* This DVD is a rental from the local library owned by them since 2001 and surprisingly the DVD has not rotted even though it is on a silver media ??? The DVD however is a DVD5 btw...

* The shots are taken in forceweave and no combing was shown but I could have sworn that in some scenes I did see combing therefore this looks to be pseudo-prog.

Looks like Super Digital collaboration. Most of their DVDs (VS-SD combo) were Single Layer, No Subtitles and Progressive.

Pseudo-Prog DVD will give combing in 2-3 shots without combing and next 2-3 shots with combing. In fast motion scenes, you can't miss combing if there.

DVD rot problem has not been seen with Single Layer DVDs, even if Silver media.

Yah I know that :) Near the end of the movie, the last song, with force weave on is where I noticed in the fast moving scenes there was some combing that is why I said pseudo-prog....

Well, EVP original release PATTHAR KE SANAM was another such DVD that gave 'combing' and 'no combing' for every half hour segments. It was progressive (Film mode; 24 steps per sec) but had incorrect flags set. Perhaps HTPMH DVD too is mostly progressive??
