Saw Monsoon Wedding y'day in a theatre. They showed a series of Sony Pictures movie trailers and one among them was LAGAAN. Which is perfect placement. It is a lovely trailer with huge focus on all the English dialogue components, a few passing shots of the song-n-dance stuff and a lot of emotional scenes thrown in. I cannot wait to see it again when it releases in the theatres with firang audiences.

The fact that it won the audience award at Locarno is being sold hard. Also its Oscar nomination.

BTW Monsoon Wedding was a sellout crowd which is simply great!

Is it similar to the trailer advertised for the dvd? The link below is of the dvd trailer that we have seen before anyway...

Yup it is the very same. They have now added to the beginning of the trailer that it was an Oscar nominee.

Thanks for the link. BTW I did not get any audio, is there a problem with it? I know I can play everything else ok on my machine, in fact I am listening to music even as I type.
