anyone have this title, nehaflix is selling cheap for 5.99. never saw the movie, heard quite a bit about it though, says DEI/BEI , therefore guessing its worth watching just for the transfer.

Absolutely. Sridevi was brilliant, especially her jail escape scenes... they were amazing for a bollywood film!

Gumrah is a remake of Hilton Bangkok.
rarely a remake becomes better than original.
and here this happens.
Sri did a great work better than Nicole Kidman in the original movie.

Sridevi in the lead
supported by Sanjay dutt and anupam kher

i have the DVD and its great

can't remember the source, but some of the "sridevi" scenes was just a "try" and mahesh bhatt liked it as is. for ex. sridevi during her mother's death scene.
