I have heard from various threads that a 2 discs set of this DVD will be coming out soon. Is this true?... If so, when is the 2 disc version going to be released?

Thanks!

I don't know about the release date, but there is defenitely a 2 disc set on the horizon. Karan Johar said it will include a making of documentary and 30 minutes of deleted scenes including the much talked about Abhishek Bachchan appearance.

Heh...that "much talked about Abhishek Bachchan appearance" may be the ONLY AB appearance that ANYONE is waiting for!

Sorry to be mean, but I just wasted three hours on Haan, Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya...

I rather like Abhishek. I think he's the best of any of the newcomers out.

Ah....Which movie did you see that made you come to that opinion? I just saw Haan, Maine Bhi Pyaar Kiya also and thought it was a waste. Abhishek has no histrionics what so ever, and should take some acting classes in the basics before he brings everyone around him down.....Which newcomers are you comparing him too?

Even though watching HMBPK was a total waste of time and energy. Interms of introduction into the industry. I think Abhishek Bachchan had it better than Hrithik Roshan. Abhishek's role in Refugee was not a formulated character to make him into a star, whereas Hrithik Roshan's intro. was. I think in the long run, Abhishek will benefit more than Hrithik Roshan as an actor.

Interesting point, I agree that Abhishek's character was unique for a newcomer to play, but was it really the right character? Did he excel and prove himself in the role he chose to be his launch? In my opinion, I dont think so, though he did well, I dont think he did anything spectacular. Also interesting that Hrithik's name got thrown in the comparison also :0 , yeah Hrithik's dad did the film, yeah it was custom made, but thats not a bad thing, thats a good thing, in one movie he was able to showcase his talent to its full potential, he proved himself to be a strong actor. And roles like in Fiza and Mission Kashmir also proved his versatility .... unconventional roles much like the one Abhishek did... I think they are on two different platforms altogether, with Hrithik high above in all aspects.....

It has been previously stated that Abishek is a complete no hoper when it comes to films. It is only through nepotism etc that he gets roles he does not have the looks, style and on screen presence to be a top actor. From interviews I have seen he appears to have an ego problem as well.

What Karishma finds attractive in him we shall never know.

Karishma seems like a women more concerned with ones inner person rather than who they are or what they look like on the outside, maybe Abhishek is a good person, but his acting is a different story..... :doze: a little more effort wouldnt hurt.....

Refugee? He did a great job in that.
Hell, even BISKH, his acting skills were totally evident. You could see that his performance was the mark of a great actor. His facial expressions especially.
