With reference to your query, note that unfortunately all 'Bimal Roy Production' & 'Guru Dutt Films' titles have been discontinued from our DVD catalogue, since the rights for these titles which were with us have expired. Unfortunately, we don't intend to re-release them in the future and we also won't be able to help you on where to source this title from now.

This is good news ... but I think that the rights have been snapped up by Spark who have released ditto copies of the YRF DVDs and not bothered improving the quality or sourcing better prints.

Hopefully once Spark's rights finish then we might get decent releases for Guru Dutt and Bimal Roy movies ... but I won't hold my breath.

*sigh* ....how long do we have to wait...for a good quality dvd...of these films...
