just finished seeing the movie. the movie is definately good & much better that what i thought it would be. no point comparing it with DCH because there are no similarities whatsoever, besides 70% of this movie is in english.

The movie belongs to rahul bose & sanjay suri. the 3 leading ladies are totally wasted. but overall the movie has its share of light moments & emotional scenes to keep the proceedings going smoothly. music is also quiet decent. its a shame that the movie has received bad reviews & the public has rejected a good movie.

That's strange....... I heard this film had done well, because of its low budget.....This article backs that up....

http://www.rediff.com/movies/2003/jun/30bolly.htm

By the way, has anyone seen that guy on Star News? I think he's called Rajiv Masand. He has a filmi programme on Sunday afternoons - Masand Ki Pasand or something like that.....caught a bit of it last week, and he slagged off MPKDH, and said the only new film worth watching at the moment was Jhankaar Beats. Do we finally have a decent reviewer? :sus:

Hi Everybody,

I have yet to see Jhankaar Beats, so I would be most grateful if anyone could point out the quality of the song numbers?

Are the visuals colourful? Nice melodies? And what about the choreography?

I wonder if the ladies were well captured by yhe camera? And I hope the fashion and style aspects were sizzling! I certainly love the old Raj Kapoor classics where all the women were stunningly photographed in erotic mini-skirts.

I really have high hopes for the song and dance numbers, if they have have a red hot energy, then I'll be more than satisfied.
