Phool Aur Kaante is cropped to about 1.85 : 1, not the best DVD I've seen but certainly not the worst. Will send screenshots when I get home.

I remember watching this film in the early 90s when it was released. I was living in India at the time. I only watched the first half, and never got a chance to watch the rest. From what I remember, it has some nice songs.

Indian DVDs were around in the 90s, late 90s though.

My issue with Spark was with the DVD of Dil Chahta Hai. I still recall I had to bring the DVD to a gathering. The entire time this DVD was playing I kept my fingers crossed that the DVD didn't freeze up. The group at the time probably would have killed me 8) Considering the group wanted to rent the pirated DVD at the time which was a cinema print, and I had the Spark DVD which was one of the few properly done DVDs minus the DVD media used which rotted.

A story from a few years back!!

I ordered/ recd Spark Phool Aur Kaante from IW, when it was on 70% off sale, for $ 2.69. Surprisingly, it works and I did back it up as I noticed rottable media. PQ is good. It's good Pseudo-Prog.
(BTW, I did not see new Indiana Jones film yet, but I've heard that Indiana Jones film has copied one scene from this film ( Ajay Devgan entry on two motorcycles) ??

Wasn't that lucky with Spark Santaan. It was fully rotten (huge black ring).
