Seems like a lot of Amitabh movies have made it on DVD through the SAMRAT label (Andhaa Kanoon, Sanjog, Indrajeet, Jurmana, etc.). Does anyone know the quality of SAMRAT DVDs....is it even worth getting them (half as good as DEI/BEI). Since nobody has posted screen shots from them one wonders if they even have a market or are they just VHS transfers trying to make money off "Amitabh" movies and his fans who will buy them.

Also anybody know the quality of Mard by indiaweekly. Is it bad or good. Mard isn't one of the best Desai/Amitabh movies but it would be nice to have if it was a good transfer. They were trying to sell Mard (by Indiaweekly) for 2.99 and now its back up to 4.99. My guess is it is as good as Faraar (also by Indiaweekly). Indiaweekly also has Coolie out but I already have a copy of Coolie on DVD (straight VHS transfer) so if its the same there is no point.
