Hi Guys, I'm new here!

It's nice to find others that actually give a damn about the state of Hindi DVD's. But anyway...

I was searching over play.com and on the home page they have a countdown for Devdas which is apparently a 4 disc edition. The cover they've got on display is the usual one with the chunky book case style and all the extras seem to be the same. Does anybody know of anything about this 4 Disc Edition? I'm assuming it's real seeing as it's play.com and they're quite big DVD provider.

I have that version and it is only a 2 disc version, have emailed them at Play to confirm or change their page.......will let you know what they say...

Disc 1: The Movie
Disc 2: Songs of Shahrukh

Alright, play.com have changed the description. It's no longer a 4 disc set, it's now a 3 disc one. Are Eros re-releasing this with the film (I assume) separated over two discs, a la Lagaan? Also, they've got two versions for sale and the 3 disc set is reportedly 11 minutes longer in duration as opposed to the first version they were selling.

They've been emailed about it to change the description, but I sure hope it is a 3 disc one as the quality should be better. Hopefully (ah, who am I kidding? It's Eros).

I think it is still a typo, notice they have a picture of a 1 disc version which doesn't exist, the Uk had a 2 disc version with a different picture (ash is holding a candle and shah rukh is lighting a ciggie off it)........so i think the 1 disc version should be the 2 disc standard version and the 3 disc is probably the 2 disc book case version that came out before. Timing is probably Pal/NTSC speedup


I loved devdas bought the 2 disc from India weekly (book case), dark naff print..... and the PAL 2 disc release (which was pixelated to hell!) and dark!

waiting for another release if only!

who knows this 'version' is listed as a release of
