Well I got burned AGAIN :evil: after the Yaraana DVD, here is Mahaan a classic movie with an extremely pathetic DVD .. its your typical VHS transfer from TIME DVD:

Ouch! I remember we used to have this on VHS, which must have been the most watched video ever. I don't remember it being this bad quality even on VHS!

Thats right, the video by Esquire 1983 had excellent picture and sound for its time. The DVD is badly sourced, same as VCD, keeps skipping scenes. But it contains 2 scenes of BigB's GURU character not seen (at least in UK)
Even the sad version of Jidhar Dekhoon on the phone is CUT completely!

Brownboy05 you have this same DVD? I havent watched it yet just skimmed through it but now I feel worse about buying this cr*p after reading your post regarding the many cuts :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil: :evil:

Heard from a source that Shemeroo are working on Mahaan.

I hope they use the uncut print, and put the film in anamorphic.

Its a classic which is finally getting it due on DVD.

Anyone who has connections with Shemeroo can advise them to ensure its 2.35:1 anamorphic!!!!

wow...mahaan..any idea when? Where did u find out from? Will it be available in uk? As some shemaroo titles like karma and saudagar are not available in uk.

karma and saudagar are available in UK

try southall or green st

i seen plenty shops stocking many shemaroo titles including the 1's u mentioned

Originals are available for £5 each but titles like Saudagar, Karma and Karz by Shemaroo are not always in stock. I saw Shemaroo's Karz for £5 at Rajdeep Video in Tooting. Other good places are Apollo Video in Southall and Music Mover in Green St.

i am talking about originals

as armaan mentioned, music movers in green st is good

he had karz and saudagar some time back

dont know if he still has, but ask him to order it for u

i always buy from them, 3 for 10 pounds on all spark, shemaroo, gvi and tip-top titles

u live near green st? me too :lol:
