Yes, different DVD releases get mentioned in their respective film threads, but I thought of this thread where one can report these comparison in one thread, as we find them. Recall, it might be a few months or years or different countries, when a different version becomes available and may or may not be noticed. And, the topic might have gone cold by that time. But as we find these, we can report here:

1) I've mentioned in other threads about PEN DVDs and MoserBaer-PEN DVDs that all DVDs that I did come across with both versions, MB-PEN were always somewhat inferior to Solo PEN DVDs.

2) Many DVDs released by WEG, were redone by IMAGE and were always much better.

3) Sarabjit: (ICM release is a Lot Better) Sarbjit released by ICM is a lot better (Progressive) than TS release. TS has some extras though (making; 2 GB). Of course, there also is a Blu Ray.

3) Turning 30: Jaanbaaz-Maverick is a lot betterDVD released by Jaanbaaz - Maverick Ent. is Progressive and excellent in quality. It's Moserbaer release is Interlaced and not as good. On top of inferior quality, MB (other MB DVDs too) forces you to watch annoying must watch long (5-10 min) adverts/ announcements. Jaanbaaz-Maverick 4 GB DVD beats 7 GB Moserbaer DVD.

4) Dum Maaro Dum: (Fox relese is a lot better) Fox release is Progressive and Moserbaer release is not as good.

5) Of course, we know all about DEI/ BEI vs EROS releases of same films.

-----------------
Please contribute, even 1-2 at a time, as you come across different versions. But, please be brief (may give link to film thread). Thanks.
There are hundreds or even thousands of DVDs already mentioned in their respective threads, and we may not be able to bring tem to notice here, but mat be we can try for the new sightings. Might come handy using zulm "search" function.

Ghar Ek Mandir:
Shashi Kapoor, Mitun, Raj Kiran, Moushmi Chatterjee, Shoma Annand, Ranjeeta

1984 Film CC 4468 meters (163 min)
Eagle DVD is 4% speed up 155 min (161 min film time).
Shemaroo DVD is 151 min 4% speed up (157 min film time)
Bollywood Films DVD is 156 min 4% speed up (162 min film time)
All three Eagle, Shemaroo and Bollywood Films, seem to be from VHS like source, Shemaroo being a tad better.

I own the Shemaroo picture keeps blurring during the climax action scenes
