Got an email from a very confused person from DEI (not hard to believe these days) saying that this info is false - well apart from "Maha Chor-NOT Kam-Chor" - the person said that Mughale Azam is a 'a def. no-no'. Probably the others titles are ‘no-no’ too!

So where did this info come from?

Too good to be true. God help us if DEI's plans to release some of these titles (very unlikely),Shemaroo's releases of Pakeezah & Mugal-E-Azam may not be the best but they have the rights and prints of complete movies.We all know the quality of previous DVD releases of these titles by other companies. But who's gonna stop future releases of these titles as there's a sucker born every second to buy crappy versions of these titles. Shemaroo's Pakeezah may not be the best version but their release of Mugal-E-Azam is the best so far.

Arsh...IMO this info lack no credibility...However I do hope that DEI definately does ANGOOR....Cos I dont think, no other company can do justice to that classic !

Well! it was given to me by DEI, in California by lady who is their front person repeatedly, when i called to find out the running time of dvd Umrao jaan, to see if it was complete and did not mention running time!! her name is Mial!! or like that! she said she will call me back after production people come by, and then after confirming that it was complete!! On my inquiry she provided me with above info!! after checking her paper work or info from another source or person, while putting me on hold each time and confirming from another source or person!!
I personally don't believe in coming out with irresponsible rumors!! But here the ball is in DEI court!! they should handle their Public Relation dept and Customer service with care and confidentiality if such desired!! BTW!!
When I spoke with the same person few weeks ago! she denied mughle Azam and Angoor!!, but this morning at 10 am she confirmed!!!

Arsh she is Mal aka Malavika ( who cant pronounce any Hindi films properly )... As I had stated previously..Please do not go by her words.... She is just there to take calls ( aka the PRO of DEI)...you should ask her to transfer the call to Sandish ..and if he confirms it then it is true... I remember Sandish telling me EXPLICITLY that DEI wont be doing MEA and P,,,, thats cos as folks have pointed out here that Shemaroo has the rights for the film... As for Angoor, now he was non-commital abt that...So lets see what has happened.
