Dev Anand is planning a Bollywood film capitalising on US singer Norah Jones and her father Ravi Shankar. We all know he's gonna make a mess of it and now Norah Jones herself has spoken about it.

Are you aware Dev Anand wants to make a movie on you and your family?

We’ve read about it, I think it’s very exploitative. He’s smart the way he’s going about it - putting it in the press that it’s about us. But we can’t do anything about it ‘cause he’s going to fictionalise it. I think it’s sad because this shows the dark side of some greedy people. He has no idea of our story and he’s not going to represent it in a truthful way I’m sure.

Has he spoken to you or your family?

He doesn’t even want to speak to us! He says “I don’t need to speak to them, I know all I need to know”. It’s sad because it’s personal stuff and it’s nobody’s business but ours.

I will. I want to see Dev Anand blister himself of creating another superficial act. Who knows?! Maybe this time around Dev Anand will award himself an Academy Award for Best documentary with this picture :sus:
