hey,i play dvds on my pc often but lately after i formatted my pc and started again,my dvd player only allows me to play 5 minutes of video,i think its the decoder,or maybe the player,can anyone help me out?i dont know what to do..

what are u using to play ure DVDs.. is it software encoding or do u have an mpeg decoder!! If its a software version like Power DVD, then i think it might be because u may have a demo version installed that only allows somet like 5 second playback!! just check ok!!

ummm i dont know exactly which on it is,but i use a few players,like windows dvd player,windvd2000,interactual player,and they all stop after 5 mins!

It looks like you actually have the demo version of WinDVD, since it only allows 5 min playback. InterActual and WM Player run off WinDVD's decoder.
