Mumbai: Popular Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai was on April 2 seriously injured, when a jeep skidded over her at Trimbakeshwar, about 25 kms from Nasik.


The accident occurred around 5.45 pm (IST), when the actress was watching a rehearsal of a scene along with Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar during the shooting of Raj Kumar Santoshi's under-production film 'Khaki', sources close to Aishwarya said.

She was immediately rushed to a hospital, where her condition was described as stable by doctors.

The unit packed up for the day after the accident.

Probably Mr S. Khan had something to do with it. I will not be surprised (with his alleged underworld connection). Here is a new twist in in Indian cinema, boy meets girl, boy loses girl, boy tries to to kill girl.......(stay tuned)

Salman probably ordered it, it's too much of a coincidence that it happens just a day after he terrorises vivek oberoi.

Aishwarya Rai injured in accident

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai was on Wednesday injured when a jeep accidentally hit her during a film shooting near Trimbakeshwar, about 25km from Nashik.

"The actress received a minor fracture in her left foot and is out of danger," according to Keshu Ramsay, producer of the film Khaki, contradicting initial reports that she has suffered serious injuries.

I hope the foot injury doesn't permanently affect her dancing abilities. I think this is her greatest strength -- then again, I am a girl... ;)

I don't know why you say Salman ordered it. I mean he was probably driving the jeep. Has everyone forgotten his driving skills:)
