the vasaki around the world concert is coming to vancouver on 19 april at gm place
and it is also coming to calgary 11 april, toronto 12 april, winnepeg 13 april, san francisco 20 april, fresno 25 april, and new york 27 april
it stars babbu mann, dharmindera, mahima chaudry, gulshan grover, richa sharma, esha koppikar, dino moria, tulsi ( from kuyki saas bhi kabhi bahoo thi), and vivek

I saw a few TV adverts too.

1) You listed Vivek last. Is it Vivek Oberoi. In the adverts I saw, I didn't notice VO name mentioned.

2) Babbu Mann name came up in another, soon to be released movie, HAWAAEIN. Is he Hero/ Actor / Singer in the movie, like Harbhan Mann ('Jee Ayan Nu' hero; HM is an established Punjabi/ Hindi Singer-Musician as well). Are Harbhajan, Babbu related??

3) Richa Sharma?? Is she the one who was married to Sanjay Dutt. She also was heroine in a few Hindi movies.

1) I know Vivek is also a Punjabi actor so I dont know if that is him.
2) Babu Mann-Harbhajan mann-gursewak mann are brothers as per my knowlege.. I havent heard too many songs of Babu Mann but he has written the lyrics for most Harbhajan and Gursewak songs...
3) Richa Sharma is a Punjabi pop/folk singer from India(sounds pretty similar to jaspinder narula) and is not the same person who was married to Sanjay Dutt. She used to also host antakshari with annu kapoor.The Richa who was married to Sanjay Dutt passed away quite a few years ago due to brain tumour.

i dont know if it is vo i am trying to phone the promoter but cant get hold of him i just wrote it from the newspapper

i found out that it is not vo but i guy named vivek shashi or something like that

O.K. thanks for the clarification. I'm sure Vivek is not the VO and Richa Sharma too, most likely is the Punjabi folk singer.

They have been showing Babbu Mann's clips from his forthcoming film Hawaaien. It is obvious from the clips, Babbu Mann too is like his brother Harbhajan Mann (Jee Ayan Nu). He is basically singer performer and getting into movies.

Looking at the clips, I think Babbu Mann as well as the movie Hawaaein are going to explode in a big way. Jee Ayan Nu was a smooth and pleasant movie. Hawaaein seems to be extremely explosive and controversial, like Gadar or may be Mission Kashmir. It appears, the movie shows a balanced view like Mission Kasmir. I don't know how the film concludes, or if the film shows a party as evil or good, but the concept is Khalistan, ISI, Indian Security, and Indian public. Even Kashmir got mentioned in the song.

Cinematography:
I'm usually skeptical of 2.35:1 framing. Was it intended or compromised to stick to 2.35:1. But, not in the song clip they showed.
2.35:1 and I saw no chopped heads. Sure, the cinematographer knew that the AR is 2.35:1 and he definitely knew how to compose a frame.

The song was a nice one too. It had had a nice Bhangra beat.
