IMO...it is the process in which one person becomes a Bakra/Bakri and prevents others from becomining so. Previously Ali used to be that..and now he has become a smart boy :D and these days its Lakeshore and arsh and the rest....
Keep up folks..without you Bakras/Bakris around, we would have long been exterminated :D

Notable examples :- Lakeshore's warning made me cancel of the Bees Saal Baad DVD..and also the warning from him made me cancel the Kohinoor DVD...Alas I should have listened to Ali's warning and avoided the Agar Tum Na Hote DVD but....:(

Smart boy and a bakra! nice :p

At one point I used to get all new titles - esp ones from DEI and YRF but with quality dropping on DEI, I only buy the titles I really want to watch or just the new film releases.

Of the 400+ DVDs I've got (Indian, Hollywood, Hong Kong) - I would say about 50% of them I haven’t watched completely! Just don’t have the time or patience anymore. I still get the new film releases hence the p/reviews still keep coming.

But all the more credit to other people here who are informing people about quality of titles – which in reality for the majority is not an issue – sadly :(

Ali :baaa:

Ali, I wonder if Sandish and his gang are reading these posts vis-a-vis DEI DVD quality. It is indeed disappointing that the quality of DEI DVDs has plummetted. However I do hope DEI does not make this as a trend...(of producing bad qualities). I have already reduced my DVD purchases. I need a few DVDs that I always pined for and I will be getting them. The rest of the DVDs (DEI stuff), I will wait for some favourable reviews here before I buy them.

Abt Yashraj DVDs, I purchase Chhoti si Baat, and it was appaling to see that it was actually a VHS quality. I have ordered Insaaf Ka Tarazu and I know what that quality will be, (bad) but I need it... I just hope DOSTANA gets a good mastering and I will buy it.

Till such time, Folks (aka the GOOD SAMARITANS), please give us the knowledge such that we can avoid the bad DVDs.

I am in the same boat as Ali. I had stopped buying Hindi DVDs except from DEI. After the squish problem, I stopped buying their DVDs also.

I am just pissed off that a company like DEI who knows how to produce Hollywood quality DVDs would sell DVDs with squish problem.

Can anybody explain why would they do that?

Sandish, if you reading this, WHY THE #&@&#@&# ARE YOU DOING THIS? ARE YOU BLIND? DON'T YOU WATCH YOUR OWN DVDS? GO BACK AND WATCH YOUR "SOLDIER" and then watch your HDDCS. AREN't you ashamed of yourself for selling crapes like your newes DVDs?
