I never knew EROS could make the excellent Technovision process look so shite on DVD - I think the 2nd DVD version of Gupt (also shot in technovison) done back in 1999 looked better then this 2004 DVD...

However I was moreso let down by the film...Rajiv Rai needs to realise that audiences expectation of action genre has developed since the days of Mohra!!!

I agree Sunny!! Rajiv rai!'s EFFORT test ur patience!! after 15 minutes!!
TECHNOVISION IS ONLY good thing AND locales!
THOSE SPLIT SCREEN , MULTIPLE TRAILING IMAGES EFFECTS MAKES U PULL UR HAIR OUT! AFTER 5 MINUTES!

bye TO viju/trimurti FILMS..writing them off!!UNBELIEVABLE HOW RAJIV RAI COULD COME UP WITH SUCH A PATHETIC STORY AND PLOT TO MAKE FILM!! IT SUCKED ALL OVER!

EVEN OUT DATED TRIDEV IS STILL MORE ENJOYBLE!!

WITH ITS SHORTCOMINGS indeed gupt BY eros IS way better! dvd BY eros! BY IF U WANA LOOK AT technovision COLORS THEN DEI DVD IS BETTER!imho.

EVEN PIAM IS WAY BETTER DVD BY EROS!

The screen shots look horrible. For some good news... Shemaroo will be releasing Asambhav on DVD in the coming weeks.

This movie sucked. Rajiv Rai should shoot movies in India so that they have better production values, instead of what he is shooting abroad. Some of the technical aspects were slick, but the split screen view he stole from The Hulk was overdone.

We can only wait and compare the DVD transfers. The one Shemaroo did for Eros and the one they are doing for there own DVD.

In comparing Masti the Shemaroo DVD was really sharp as compared to the Eros DVD. (Did Shemaroo author Masti for Eros as well)?

I wouldn't be surprised if Eros pays Shemaroo the bare minimum amount one can pay to have a DVD made.. (Hence the bad transfers.)
