Wow.. well, not really considering the company behind this dvd.. dull soft transfer.. you know, softness can be tolderated if the colors are nice and lively. too bad that's not the case here. :( Does anyone know if the movie is good at least?

That scene is actually a flashback scene of the Vaastav days of Raghu-bhai. I actually managed to get through this DVD last night and the film is a disappointment. Mahesh Manjerekar could have made this a great sequeal to the great Vaastav. Unfortunately he didn't and the acting/direction/story/songs were all bad. Had Mahesh Manjerekar put more thought into its story & screenplay, this film could have been real something(just like Vaastav). I could honestly see alot of potentials in such a story to make this gangster saga a classic if its handled accurately.

I just saw the movie last night and rather liked it. Bear in mind that I haven't seen the original Vaastav yet (though now I really want to). I thought it was a well-made and slickly-directed film with some great acting and good moments.

I hope you see Vaastav soon as that is a far superior film imho to hathyar .. extremely well made and possibly sanjya dutt's best performance to date....

Was definetly one of the best films in Sunjay Dutts career for which he won a Filmfare award and was appraised by many. The acting of Dutt jr. was good but not upto par of Vaastav at all. Dont know why Bollywood tries to make sequels as they always flop. They are never upto par of its predecessor. The only one I can think of is Nagina with SriDevi and its Part II Nighahen: Nagina 2. They made 100 Days and planned on making 101 Days: Killer Strikes Again with Anu Agarwal, Jeetendra and others. The audio cassette was released for the movie but the movie never released, thank god!

Didn't Sanjay Dutt win a national award for Vaastav?
