Yugpurush with Nana Patekar, Manisha, and Jakie. I've seen this DVD under the EROS brand name. But just out of curiosity, is there a DEi/Eros version of this film on DVD?

Of course, it was. The print is excellent. I got it recently. The bit rate, if I remember correctly, averages at above 6 mbps.

Checked the print and the movie last night.

Audio is Dolbby Digital 2.0. Movie end credits lists the film to be DTS Stereo. Does it mean DTS surround for the film, I don't know. For DVD Dolby 2.0; Is it stereo or mono, I can't say (didn't pay attention to it).

Video:
Bit rate hovers around 8 mbps (at times, saturates the full bit bar @ 10mbps), believe it or not (movie is 150 min). Watch this DVD at your own risk. You will forget candy.

Movie:
It's a spicy psychological drama. As always, Nana is superb, Manisha is charming.

i have this dvd, and they do have subtitles, not on songs though. and i dont think there is any dei dvd that doesn't have subtitles (the only one i can think of is Zindagi Ek Juaa)

in order to get subtitles, you will have to go to subtitles FIRST and then chose ON and then go back to paly it shows the subtitles. i noticed for some reason, there is no other way round for this dvd to get subtitles. i mean other dvds you can chose to have subtitles turn on and off in the middle of the movie, but this dvd insists on chosing before playing the movie.

just watched this movie, I think its a fascinating movie, which never got its full due..much better than the crap churned out these days.

I downloaded a copy from BWT torrents, which is a 6-Pass CCE version of the DEI/EROS copy, can't really tell a difference.

If anyone is interested in selling their original copy, I'd be interested in buying.
Thanks
