Madhuri plays a housewife constantly being traumatized by a jealous husband. The movie has Shah Rukh Khan in just 13 scenes while Salman Khan makes yet another guest appearance. Shah Rukh Khan is an uncaring, hard-nosed professional who fails to give in to the demands of family and love. As a rich businessman he looks down upon his lazy brother–in-law, played by Atul Agnihotri. Salman shows up again in a muscle flexing but sensitive role of a long-lost-childhood friend, who unwittingly hastens the breakdown of an already strained Shah Rukh-Madhuri marriage. The story takes us through a bumpy ride of doubts, conflicts and reunion.
