Are you sure the DVD is being released on September 10th?

The courts have apparently put a stay order on the film, so it can't release theatrically until October:

Let me correct myself - the film was released today in a lot of India despite the stay order, according to Star News.

Just out of curiosity, wheree did you guys get the info and cover from?

Rated PG-13...surely it can't be THAT obscene!

I thought a film like this would be rated at least a 15. I guess the talk about nude scenes must've been blown completely out of proportion.

First things first. Is all the hue and cry raised by Manisha Koirala about the way some scenes relating to her have been shot in the case of 'Ek Chhoti Si Love Story' really justified? No, there is nothing 'obscene' in the disputed scenes shot with a double, and all that the controversy and court case between the actress and director Shashilal Nair seems to have done is to garner free publicity for the film.

Left to itself, the film is just trash. Any prurient minds in search of 'hot scenes' will come away very disappointed. The disappointment will be twofold as the so-called 'hot scenes' have been shot with the aid of a double.

There was some uncertainty whether the film would be released on time following a stay on the release of the film by the Mumbai High Court but the exhibitors took the stand that they were not a party to the dispute. They said that they had not been served any notice staying the release of the film and went ahead with its screening.

There is no drama and no plot points in the film and the narration is far too insipid. The shots of Manisha in scanty clothing are there merely to titillate the viewer. Nair has nothing to say through his film.
