Hi,

Just wondering who has what DVD player (standalone). My quest is to find a really good and reliable player. It would be cool if you could list the player you have and rate it.

Mine is a CyberHome ADL-58 - Good, multiregion + rce, dolby + dts decorder, pal + ntsc, cheap (£100), plays cdr/cdrw/mp3/svcd etc. and firmware updatable. In all really good value and does the job. **** 1/5

I have two one Pioneer DVL 700,over 3 years old, plays LD/DVD/CD/CDR/, it's great, watch most of my stuff on it the only downside it doesn't have DTS. I have a prefernce for Pioneer
as I have another LD players which is almost14 years old and not even once that to sent it in for repairs.

For DTS DVD's I use Sony DVPNS300,which is very basic for about $180.00,serves the purpose.

When I replace my Sony in a few years it will be a Pioneer.
