LOC in trouble
Barely had the early controversies died down, J P Dutta's Line Of Control sparked off another out of control war between the artistes and their director. To start with they were made to shoot in freezing temperature about -10 degrees Celsius. The unit members were made to climb mountains lugging lights and equipments in such conditions. Insiders insist that there was no proper arrangement of food. Also, the food would turn cold as ice by the time it would arrive on the sets. Finally the otherwise reticent and calm Akshaye Khanna lost his temper when he was served cold food. What bugged him further was wife Bindiya Goswami Dutta saw to it that her hubby dearest J P Dutta got piping hot food.
The other actor who went red in the face amidst the cold climate of Ladakh was Nagarjuna. Apparently he was kept waiting not called for a single shot throughout the day. Nag who is worshipped down South certainly did not need to pay obeisance to J P Dutta. The sources reveal that the director had a scuffle with nearly all his artistes. Even Abhishek Bachchan was not spared. Bachchan was down with heavy fever yet he was made to shoot for the film, something he will never forgive and forget Dutta for. Sources also claimed how Dutta wanted to shoot his film on the border where not even a crow was allowed to walk forget shoot a film. But Dutta insisted. With the way things are moving at the moment one wonders if JP Dutta is gone out of control.
