Amitabh gets Kishore Kumar Award
Actor Amitabh Bachchan will be honored with the prestigious Kishore Kumar award for 2002-03 for his monumental contribution to the cinematic field. The award that carries a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh and a plaque is given by Madhya Pradesh Government to individuals for their outstanding contribution in any one specialized field every year. This year it is being given for acting. The Lata Mangeshkar award will also be given to veteran music director Ravindra Jain in the same ceremony.
