Karisma-Bipasha: Who's better?
The week will witness the releases of two mega ventures Gunaah and Shakti- The Power. Both the films stand to be heroine oriented. And odious comparisons between Karisma Kapoor and Bipasha Basu are inevitable. While Kapoor has proved her credentials as an actress, Basu has still to explore new avenues and still discover new facets to her acting persona. Even the stories of Shakti and Gunaah are as different as chalk and cheese. Shakti, remake of the Hollywood hit, Not Without My Daughter, tells the story of an NRI based Nandini who comes to India with her husband and son and how she along with her son gets webbed in a gang war for no fault of theirs. She moves heaven and earth to save her son. While Gunaah tells the story about lady cop Prabha who falls in love with criminal Aditya (Dino Morea) and tries to reform him. Though both films give their heroines, in this case Karisma Kapoor and Bipasha Basu, ample opportunity to display their talent, ultimately one will score over the other. Which one will it be remains to be seen!

OVERSEAS! Karisma does not SELL! Sanjuay Kapoor..no FACE VALUE!, VOILENT THEMES..dont PROSPER WELL!!
NANA, STRONG performances..MATTER to GOOD CRITICS only!!
KAMINA will be able to sustain opening fever , but for HOW LONG?
GUNNAH! SETTING on SUCCESS of RAAZ will be INTRIGUING..MUSIC is a let down here!
INSPIRATION/PERFORMANCES..need to be seen.....??  ???  o:
