that makes no sense releasing a film on video
then at the same time putting it in the cinema again,
maybe its a limited released in cinemas of the full version dvd
that is releasing at the same time

unless (and i hope not) they are planning another dvd a few months later - SE? :baaa:

It makes perfect sense..if eros are distributing this version overseas...then they going to release dvd again SE..another money making scheme...
there is a slight...very slight chance that while it is bieng played in the US or UK it will be picked up by a foreign company...but most likely itll end up on eros again..

I dont mind really, I liked the film so much I'd buy a second addition no problem.......I can't wait for the first edition to arrive!!!! :cool:

Its great to see Devdas coming back on screen, I'll finally be able to watch it on big screen. On another note, hollywood distributors are taking the same strategy...saw an ad on tv about Spiderman and MIB2 coming back to theatres in September. You will be able to watch both of them with one ticket. Bear in mind that spiderman dvd comes out in november. :keh:

So, how do we know, which version is playing in the theatre?? Multiplex, where it is still playing, theatre personnel will never know. How do we identify it??

just seems like a quick get rich scheme...

in other words it will probably entice people to see it for one more time, like with the mib2/spiderman promo by sony..

but i do feel that there will be 2 versions of the dvd...

If u go by EROS track record, 2-3 versions, I would say, TAAL, HAHK, and all SUCKY! :baaa: :bangbang: :ffs: :baaa: :stupid: :angry:
