Any one know anything about indian martial-arts movies? Saw a documentary on swedish television about Kalaripaijat (spelling?), an indian martial art which Boddhidharma took to China. It is so to say the "kung fu of india". Appearently, martial arts films on the Kalaripaijat team are supposed to be very popular there. Any one who can tell me more about this? Are there any must-see-movies? Any good DVDeditions with these (and english subtitles)?

I am aware of the martial art form of "Kalari" but am not aware of any indian films based on that.btw is it "kalaripayatt" that u meant to spell? It comes from south india, kerala i am sure. If u stay in the UK then there are a few groups that perform there every now and then in the Queen elizabeth Hall in London... u can search on their website... but i am not sure of any dvd films based on this.....
