You are right about both Saif and Urmilla needing a break. Saif surely deserves a good break in a good film from a goood director like Ram Gopal Verma. But on the other hand Urmilla deserves a verrrry long if not permanent break from films altogether. Come on RGV wake up and get someone else for your films. :)

Amen to that...it did appear that RGV was homing in on Antara Mali for a while as replacement....but Isha Koppikar would not be such a bad idea either ;) ...(wicked)

Hi all,

I'm rather new to Bollywood films, only got started watching them this spring. But what is everyone's problem with Urmila?

I started out by watching RANGEELA and loved it so much I watched the rest of the Ramgopal Varma films, then watched most of Urmilas. She is one of my favorite actresses after seeing them. Especially in the final part of KAUN, most US actresses couldn't pull that off.

Well, There is no problem with Urmila except that we are watching her for the past 10 years where as you just started watching her.. I also think she is an exceptionally good actress. :D
I think people love to see RGV directional talents with some present day actresses. :D :baaa: :DD:

Didn't Fox have a hand in producing Bollywood Calling? And that one went to Eros for the DVD.

'I will not direct 20th Century Fox film'
Ram Gopa Varma!

Though Ram Gopal Varma produces the Urmila starrer.

Varma has quite a few developments in his career. "My production house has tied up with 20th Century Fox. But contrary to what was reported in the press, I am not directing the film. It will be directed by Sridhar Raghavan who, let me tell you, is really good, " says Varma.

Varma has cut a three-picture deal with 20th Century Fox. " I am the creative superviser while they deal with financing and marketing. I like the professional attitude of these guys, so I decided to collaborate with them
