Hmmmmm very unlikely. English August I've never heard of. Split Wide Open was distributed by Eros and so was Bollywood Calling (which ended up on a Eros DVD too).

Ali,
'Split Wide Open' like Bollywood calling may have been distributed by Eros in the US but the big difference is that unlike 'Bollywood Calling', 'Split Wide Open' starts with FOX logo, just like any other English film in the US produced by Fox.
