Why the quality of DVDs of some (or most) old Indian films is so poor. Why can't the manufacturers use a good source (Master Negative/Positive)of these films to produce DVDs. I bought three different brands (Yashraj, Shemaroo and Baba) of Dilip Kumar's Devdas (1955), and each one them have one scene missing (the same scene). This scene is present in a VHS version of Devdas. This was just an example, but it makes my point.
