Well I just noticed Yashraj released their version of Kanoon Apna Apna Starring Dilip Kumar, Sanjay Dutt and Madhuri Dixit. Does anyone have it yet? I have the DEI version and was wondering how it would compare to the YRF version. Below are the covers:

YRF DVD Info:
* English Subtitles
* Digitally re-mastered from the original film
* Presented in Original Theatrical Aspect Ratio
* Enhanced 5.1 Dolby Digital Sound
* Reproduced from vintage source for the sake of nostalgic appeal, hence possibly compromising on quality. :hmm:

Why did they use Vintage source when excellent DEI DVD from film exists.

Rana-bhai, haven't you learned by now that whenever a CD or DVD says "reproduced from vintage materials for the sake of nostalgia," it means, "we have made no effort whatsoever to clean up the quality and create a decent product."

A recent biggest disappointment was DEI DILLAGI, hema and dharam, my absolute favourite film, but seems like DEI was not able to do any thing? why, just it was beyond my limits of acceptance..i returned it....

btw..does any body know of dvd version of old..TALAASH, sharmila/rajendra kumar, with absolutely, delightful, music by S.D. BARMAN....

They released this movie AGAIN on DVD? It was awful, but with the stars on the cover, it will find some takers.

The movie was not anything special. But one of the scenes at the end was absolutely brilliant, just before Dilip Kumar gets arrested for murder.

Is there anywhere I could find the screenshots of the DEI version?

I would wish for a comparison with the YRF version, but just DEi SS would help me a lot!

@Sageer - any chance you could help? Thanks in advance!
