So, this one is still Progressive??

It doesn't seem to have sub-t which turns EVP prog DVDs to interlaced DVDs.

had this shot been taken from an Interlaced DVD... in force-weave mode you would have got combing artifacts and ...double images in an auto-select mode..... Proving that authoring the DVDs in progressive mode is the ONLY way to present a film !

What you’ve said is that in progressive or interlaced you cant see anything in that shot. Brilliant. :hmm:

Beyondyourlevel your nick justifies your statement :D

I never said anything abt the bit-rate :D.. If you wanted to see something in that shot.. you would have needed more bits to encode the motion vectors...and that would have made the shot more visually appealing. You can never get that shot had this dvd been encoded in an interlaced fashion. ... (This is what we call Motion Blurring)

Noticed that CC (1976) indicates it to be 4497 meters or 164 min. EVP DVD is 143 min run time. DVD material/ storyline doesn't seem incomplete or missing any logical segment from the film but I just wonder if the full 164 min (or 157 min if 4% speed up) is avail anywhere ??

There is a Sky DVD also avail. What's the run time on that one ??
