Can anyone tell me if this movie is any good - I've just ordered the DVD from IW. I'm not expecting anything from the DVD, cos it's made by Baba, but hey, it only cost $3.99!!

Haven't seen "Bemisaal," but don't buy a Baba disc, even at $3.99. They're not worth even that.

Hi there, i'm new to this site but not new to AB's movies, Bemisaal is an excellent drama with AB playing a very complex character. Hrikrish Mukherjee always brought out the best in AB and this movie shows why! Bemisal features in my top 5 AB movies.

This was a GOOD film, with GOOD music! but plss, better to live with ur memories, than trashing them with this HORREINDOUS dvd!! :angry: :bangbang:

To quote Khalid Mohammed from his review that appeared in TOI at the time of its release 'Bachchan is flamboyance personified'.

It has a trite sub-plot but the story and its premise simply more than makeup for everything.

Please watch it.

Someday I hope, the original Bengali version is also released..considering it had tow of Bengali cinema's stalwarts...

got the shemaroo release. it's pretty much similiar to the Baba dvd. Baba print is cleaner but dead colour. Shemaroo print is old old, colour is slightly better. shots coming up shortly.

I saw this film recently and liked it very much. Very good film, imho. Another great performance by AB.

Do not buy Shemaroo DVD of Bemisal . It is worst in picture quality similar to Shemaroo Jurmana DVD. But movie is very good. Must to watch.
