Recently acquired Jaanam Sajha Karo Video Sound DVD and is supposed to be original. Golden arched Video Sound Logo.

This DVD is Single Layer, DD 5.0 @ 448 kbps, has English Sub-t. Total 4.1 GB. Bit rate is 3.0 to 3.5 mbps. It is Pseudo-Prog. PQ is VHS standard or worst.

I have seen JSK songs in one of songs DVDs where the songs are Progressive and high bit rate. PQ is excellent. I had been looking for that encoding but never found it.

I rented a JSK DVD that was released long long time ago by Video Sound.

This DVD is Dual Layer on dark Gold media. DD 5.1 @ 384 kbps. Total aprox 7.5 GB, bit rate varies bet 4.5 to over 9 mbps. No sub-t. It's Pseudo-prog with clear 3-2 pull down. PQ is very good to excellent, DVD standard.

Any comments why they released (newer version) sub titled version in crap qualitry and the original version in better quality a few yrs ago. Or, may be they don't know how to add sub-t.

I, too, bought "Janam Samjha Karo" (I don't even know why), and the quality is ATROCIOUS. I got it from nehaflix.com, and it's made by VideoSound.

Would have been nice, if we had gotten screens directly from VLC/MPC or something...those screens are too small to check anything.

But I've been dying to get a better source...I too had the VideoSound, and would love to locate this version UNLESS there is something better out there...thanks again for your efforts
