What model number? DCH pixelates (is that a word) quite badly starting from the Woh Ladki Hai Kahan scene right up thru the opera scene on my old Tosh SD-2108.

guys, the problem is clearly with the dvd itself and not any dvd player. i think those with a dch disk still working have to thank their disc rather than their dvd player. has anyone found their dch disk playable in one dvd player and not in another?

I can vouch for the fact that the problem is with the Dil Chahta Hai DVD rather than with anyones player. I have been thru 6 or 7 copies of DCH DVDs and I have tried them on atleast 5 different players from different manufacturers. Case Closed.

guys, i didn't buy this dvd yet, but i really want to get it. But, i have a panasonic a115 player and a Apex. I thought my dvd player won't play it, but after reading Sanjay's post, i think i'm gonna go for it. But, can someone please tell me which version i should get. Like, the one at IW has the purple cover, and the one at nehaflix has a different one. Are they any different at all or is it the same? And, is it possible that only the ones with purple covers are the defected discs? And, are they all on cheap silver media? please help. thanx

there was supposed to be a new edition out in the uk but we don't know if this version is on cheap media or not. if i were you, i'd hold out on buying this dvd for now until we know of one version that will not rot. in the mean time, find a good vhs copy or try to get one burned onto good media.
