My 2-cents:

Eros is the biggest culprint for this sorry state of Indian DVD quality. If and when they start producing quality DVDs others will sure follow them. But I doubt if that ever happen?

And I don't see any abusive language in the DVD_C letter.

DVD Collector,
Why did you bother to tell them about their DVD quality, as if they don't know how shitty there are?

sknath how do you define " abuse "? and most importantly can you recognise the different forms of abuse? Do take an other look at his email to Mr.Ahuja again. For a starter lets examine the salutation.. How would you have addressed the gentleman? keep in mind that this someone unknown to you and is of some importance.... then keep going and you will probable see what Moviezzz is talking about. (Remember no pucnhing below the belt) :D :p

The first one was Dear Madan ( fair enuff..)... Now that Moron didnt reply back... so what would one do.... should he write... (Hail The Great Madan ?)...

The only "abuse" I could find in his e-mail was that he had the guts to point out the mistakes EROS quite brazenly does, and instead of being a professional... Madan Ahuja literally backfired.... something like, Ulta Chor Kotwaal Ko Daante !

wouldn't hurt plus a few hail marys, hahaha! No but seriously
it would make sense if one is trying to coerce any answer from some in admitting any wrong doing one would cajole instead of being condescending, antangonistic and demanding.
Given the situation i am surprised the gentleman did not palm him off to some one else to send him one of their standard run of the mill replies they have for situation like this. Give credit to Mr Ahuja for even offering to speak to him. :D

Personally, I don't see how my e-mail was harsh--I felt I was just being a little aggressive to get my point noticed. In any case, if anyone here feels I was being rude, that's fine--I don't think we should all go against each other over this topic of discussion here. And for those of you who want me to call this guy--I'm sorry, but call me ("kanjose") but I'm not about to call long-distance to some guy who probably won't satisfy my wants. Had it been in Canada--I would have made a personal move for sure.

To expose all the bad things about Eros can be better served by bombarding their guest book. You can actually post your feelings there and be assured that it gets read by (according to them) hundreds of people. They will eventually remove the post after a cuople of days but you will get your message accross. Imagine if all of Zulm was to do this on a daily basis?. Mind boggling! :D

I don't know about this.

The Email that you sent WAS a little rude. I don't blame him for not answering.

But, the fact that he gave you his phone number and asked you to call him tells that he is willing to talk to you. Why not take him up on his request? The call won't cost that much and you can actually get something accomplished. Email isn't the best form of communication.

How many presidents of DVD companies would even answer emails or give you their number to call them?

Moviezzz, ever heard of the term GIMMICKS.....
and ever heard of a Dog's tail..... "12 baras nali mein rakkho" (talk all abt it on zulm and other forums)... "woh vaise ka vaise hi rahega" (they will still be the wankers) "nali taedhi ho jayegi" (zulm on the other hand might become morose in the process !).... No more gimmicks from EROS,, Unless they can match their deeds by words.. its useless to expect anything from them !

Hi,

The President of Eros did request the poster to give him a call. He felt the tone of the email was a bit harsh and not worthy of a reply. Instead, he wanted to discuss it civilly, over the phone. I can't blame him for that.

I'm not happy with the quality of some Eros DVDs as well. But you aren't going to solve anything by posting things here or making fun of him.

Give him a call, talk to him, that would get your point across better than 1000 emails.

Moviezz Madan Ahuja is not the president of EROS.. he is some down itsy-bitsy Chamca of EROS.... who had the temerity to scorn DVD_C's e-mail, rather than professionally acknowledge his e-mail.. and as for abusing .. I didnt see any abuse written on his e-mail... so I dont see what is so "abusive" abt that e-mail. If u wanna see some "abusive" e-mails, do glance through the posts that ppl make here on zulm !

If u wanna see some "abusive" e-mails, do glance through the posts that ppl make here on zulm !

yeah u being the number 1 asshole for doing them :D :D :D :D

Now that's a naughty idea....seriously Ali, if you can somehow get to point to this guestbook url of EROS' site in EVERY thread that gets created on Zulm, anytime people here feel like venting, they can simply go to this guestbook and purge their venom........it will be an awesome message for EROS and their goonks.....this idea is pregnant with delicious possiblilities

Even though I'm not too surprised, Madan has stopped replying to my e-mails.

DVD Collector, first of all I think it's great that you e-mailed them! Every e-mail counts. Secondly, there was absolutely nothing wrong about your e-mail. I would say it's harsh from that Madan-guy for not sending a reply tp you earlier. Working in a company you should be able to reply to your (potential) customers as soon as possible. :!:

I also agree completely with DragunR2 in this discussion.

I think its a really good idea to expose them in this manner, as atleast it may help a few people who are unaware of Zulm. By going through these messages they will certainly stop buying the crap from them (ofcourse the stupids excluded).
