Michel, I think you have Shemaroo Mughle-A-Zam. Its not as good as good as Bobby or SSS in Category 2 (old source), but as it has 2-3 pull down available it should be better than Awara, Shri 420 and Pakeeza (I think you have these DVDs) of Category 1 where video fields have been averaged and hence 2-3 pull down is not available.

Are you saying I can't tell Pakeezah and Mughal apart?
:p
I have Pakeezah but not Mughal. The only other Shemaroo I
have is Shool (?). I have Yash Raj Awaara and Shree 420.
The latter has averaged fields, former I have not checked.
Yaadein and MDK are the worst kind. Frame averaging AND
extra fields from film to PAL transfer -> jerky and smeared
motion rendition. Yash Raj should hit Prasad hard for
delivering such crap. And Yash Raj should be whipped for
not noticing and accepting it.
:ffs:

They need to give up on the film. How could one film already with an official and great DVD keep having others? This film was horrible anyways!

Just like KNPH, HSSH, Fiza, DCH, Devdas and Mission Kashmir, it kills the film when it has too many DVD's.

You make a fair point but...........
There is only 1 Mission Kashmir DVD by CT and has been released for both regions 1 and 2.
The superb HDDCS DEI 2 disc set has only been released in the UK
The Videosound version available to the North America has a crap transfer, poor sound and probably self destructs after 2 viewings.
Therefore a new, better release is warranted in North America. Personally havent seen the movie but it won lots of awards and acclaim and has good songs so the people of North America deserve a decent release at the very least.
This would be the second release in North America and there have been 2 releases of many movies and 2 releases is hardly killing it.

I'm in NA also and I've seen UK releases like DEI HDDCS and Spark/DEI Fiza, as well as some Tip Top/DEI releases.

the dvd has been on the shelf for ages.. its just been re-released with a new cover.. its the same discs as the DEI one for the UK market.. Spark and Tip Top videos have started distributing their discs through major high street outlets in the UK like HMV etc so its just a stupid marketing ploy.. its not a different disc!!

If you think 2 DVD's is hardly killing a movie, then Devdas is already dead! At a local store, I was looking for the official Devdas 2 Disc DVD, and I only ended up with *sigh* 6 different Devdas DVD's. I've looked around at other stores, and seen different multiple versions. This film is dead!

Only one version exists, the two disk by ERO$ for now...all other are P-I-R-A-T-E.

Some say ERO$ released a single disc though, so at the max maybe 2 versions exist.
