well, i thought "Raincoat" was a beautiful film. it's actually one of the very few films that i liked last year. But, everyone have different tastes.

I was in India recently and picked up the Shemaroo version. The colours aren't quite as bright as the Baba version and the image is less sharper too.

Gorpine Ltd T/A Tip Top Video releases are normally repackaged of the USA counterparts. I'll be NTSC, most probably the same as Baba print. Very rarely you get TTV redo releases. The one on Amazon will be the same as this;
