I read somewhere that it was Nayak. Is it the most expensive film already released?

To repeat myself from another thread, the cost of K3G is:
In Indian rupees Re40 crores, which is Re400 million. Converted to US dollars that would be approx $8.3 million. In British pounds it would be approx £5.6 million. \Which makes it the most expensive Indian film to date, not including 'Gandhi' which was only partly funded by the NFDC (National Film Development Corporation, read Indian government). 'Kaante' irrespective of what it's final budget may be, has not yet been completed and released, therefore it does not count.

Coming back to Taran Adarsh. Come on guys, do we really need to discuss someone who thinks that 'David Dhawan' is one of the best directors in Bollywood. The same David Dhawan, whose films outdo each other in being the stupidest, crudest, most vulgar, most inane and overall some of the crappiest movies made in bollywood.

i personally detest the last few david dhawan releases as the biggest piece of utter garbage ive seen....Chal mere bhai...Dulhan hum le jayenge KKNJNB .....i used to enjoy some of his movies like Haseena maan jayegi.....I really hope the Jhamu suaghand presntation ....Hum kissie se kum nahin is better....which is David dhawans next....or Yeh hain Jalwa..otherwise ill flip HKKN is inspired by Analyze this which was hatke...

Although i also agree Kaante does not count there is a budget on the best movie site in the world...WWW.IMDB.COM/ Type Kaante in search and you will get lots of decent details on movie..KAANTE Let the countdown begin....

Oh well I somehow knew this was going to turn into a Taran Adarsh bashing thread! :DD: Tell you the truth I hardly read the any reviews cos they just contain major spoilers (as well as back DVD cover synopsis!) – Moksha was close a call  I look at the ratings and have a glance at the last paragraph – if the rating is low then the film has potential :sly: In that respects the guy is consistent and valuable resource :where:

HAVE TO AGREE WITH YOU ALI...

Me personally i have stopped reaing reviews as they have spoiled many a films for me regardless of who doin the review what do you expect when readin a review....its not forced on you..some people read reviews to try and form there own opinions....nowadays i skimm through reviews....

ohb yeah back to an earlier point i made on this post....talkin about how i think movies like....aks.....fiza and MK will be made no more in bollywood...it is a known fact that karan johar and his bed partner aditya chopra would love to make an action/thriller infact aditya has had such a script for years but they wont go ahead cause they can not afford to experiment with areas which do not bring commercial success...

HA! HA! HA! HA! HA! That was the best laugh I have had in a long time. By the way that is exactly what I do, except I read the first paragraph too. Very carefully though, lest they slip some spoilers in there.

There are times I have actually felt like literally doing that.

I think part of Taran's biggest problem is that he made friends with some of the big shots in the film industry and he is afraid to hurt their feelings by putting their movies down..These big people normally become big because of the big box office success of the movies, which again are usually dum. For instance, I would think that since Taran had the review of K3G out much earlier than the film's release date, he pulled some of his contacts in the Johar camp to go to a screening of the movie...now come on, after being accepted to something like that do you think the buger is going to put the movie down...if he does, he knows he might be shut out when the next big movie comes out...Its all about politics and sucking up, even in the film industry...I mean his reviews are actually pretty dumb and you can quickly know he is trying to be extra nice about the movie when he talks about technical brilliance and other bullshit like that, instead of the actual story....just my 2 cents.

Suprisingly Taran Adarsh's choices aren't too bad. There not perfect. But His list wasn't something i expected. I would have thought he would praise Gadar in almost every catagory.

I don't think that his choices have anything with Filmfare awards, where as, in his list, he has choosen Aamir Khan for best actor. Aamir Khan doesn't even believe in the Filmfare Awards Institution, so he certainly wouldn't accept any award for Best Actor (unless if the National Awards committe were to award him that honor).
