Menace 2 Society is one of my all time favourite movies ever.. i really enjoy it..

Youve actually missed some excellent movies like New Jack City and Belly.. they are two excellent movies too!!

Belly- DMX can't act to save his sorry ass. Too much style and too little substance.

187- I thought Samuel L. Jackson was fantastic in this underrated movie. But I don't know how this falls into the category of 'gangsta' movies. It was the story of a teacher tryin' to survive in an LA highschool.

Menance II society- One of the better movies from the Albert and Allen Hughes, million times better than the crap 'From Hell'.

I would NOT class as gangster film. They're more Ghetto dramas, although they may have some gangs in them. Gangster films are about organised crime, the films above are more like disorganised crime. :D
