Izzy can u scan post covers of ur Raja hindustani/bazigar, where it says platinum? I have kinda feeling, that EROS uses that term, Platinum, gold, silver..so may be some confusion..

IZZY! LOL!! PLATINUM ENHANCED STICKER!! is ON TOP OF PLASTIC SHRINK WRAP, for BOTH DIL SE and PARDES! NOT on the ART COVER!! I can SAY with CHALLENGE, as I still have an ORIGINAL SHRINK WRAPPED DIL SE DVD, in my hand!!

My SARFAROSH, WECOME 99, DEI discs SAY PLATINUM on the bottom of the spine!!

I can proove my point, by sending JPEGS here!

What you say now?

OK!! izzy, let me summarize, my findings!! BAAZIGAR/PARDES/DIL SE/RAJA HINDUSTANI r all EROS PLATINUM dvds!! They have SILVER EROS sticker on the front PG rating and PLATINUM on the spine, no mention of DEI on the back of the ART COVER..Supposedly, EROS only version, Foto on DISCS r DIFFERENT too!!

PARDES/DILSE, DEI came out with ENHANCED VERSIONS< with an RECTANGULAR, Silver sticker with BLUEor Purple writing, on that that was attached to SHRINK WRAP COVER!!

I'll post a picture of my DIL SE, with ORIG sticker!!

Again, I am SKEPTICAL here!! Your Platinum, DVDS might be? possibly EROS only versions, with SAME TRANSFERS as DEI or NEW TRANSFERS!!

BTW! the WORSE DVD with 5.1(worst sound) I have seen EROS revised version of SARFAROSH!

i am trying to say on the main cover i have that silver sticker and it is in blue writing. on all of the ones i said i have the platinum version

Can u pls, tell me dimensions of that sticker, and What? writings, and Pls check on powerdvd, those dvds, what kinda sound encoded, 5.1, 4 channel, stereo or mono?

i dont have power dvd and what do u mean by dimensions
the silver sticker says:
platinum
collectors edition
features:
doby digital 5.1
english subtitles
enhanced picture quality and is says dvd video
my uncle has the reg dei/eros for these dvds and the only thing i see different in mine is that it has better sound

Well, yaar, thats what I want to know?, esp, on Duplicate, Raja Hindustani, Baazigar etc!! How is? in which way, ur discs have better sounds, than ur uncle's dude! LOL, simple, nothing to get annoyed about!

If u have powerdvd 4 software in ur pc, u can play those discs, in ur dvdrom, and click on info, it will tell, u details, how sound is encoded, what bit rate used, in ur versions, vs chacha ji"s version, lol..very objective, yaar!..thnx

Miyan, naraz hone ki tou baat nahin, aisa kiya?

my uncle has the same surround system as i do but in his reg dvds they kind sound dead like the bass isnt that good and the sound dosent cme in every speaker in mine the sound comes in every speaker and the bass is very good
by the way is there any place where i can download power dvd 4 other than kazza

Yaar download it at download.com, trial version, it works fine!!

If u can check, the details, as I mentioned, it will become, more OBJECTIVE, besides, your SUBJECTIVE impression...

EROS-B4U version is definitely Interlaced, EROS still calls it Platinum. I guess Platinum stands for High Price or for DD 5.1??

I think, on sound IZZY might be right, Pseudo 5.1 has more bang, more dynamic and louder with a lot of BASS, as compare to orig Mono, or stereo???
The ones I saw with Platinum and Silver EROS sticker, did not have even B4U on that..

In DEI version, DEI logo comes up in the start with LIGHTENING!but IMHO, more BASS and more Dynamic is not always BETTER!

I guess, the scans above are for showing DEI-EROS DVD which has PLATINUM sticker stuck on, on the shrink wrap. DVD cover says DD 4 Ch and Platinum Sticker says DD 5.1. DEI-EROS version is definitely Progressive.
DEI-EROS Pardes DVD that I have, I don't remember if it had Platinum sticker as the shrink wrap was taken out long time ago. Cover says DD 4 Ch but Pwer DVD info shows up as DD 5.1.

Then there also is an EROS-B4U Platinum DVD that Congress has. I guess it is Interlaced (Pseudo-prog).
