I thought the film was great, when I watched it during the late 80s. But I did come across it again a few years back, except for the songs, It looked tacky. They drama, the acting the story and the the special appearence by Rajesh Khanna all looked very wooden and dated very dated.

I couldn't beleive I used to think this was a excellent flick

6.) Disco Dancer

Disco Dancer is a film Mithun will mostly be remembered in by the masses. I will remember him in movies like Jallad, Agneephat & Hum Paanch. Also can someone remember the name of the director of Disco Dancer, was it B. Subash?

Out of the list I am loooking forward to Sadma (I still cry at the last scene when Sridevi doesn't recognise Kamal)

and Satyame Jayete which was Vinod Khanna's comeback film, and was decent at the time.

Actually these films are the ones coming out in the next two months. However when I spoke with Sandish, he listed the complete list of films which he will be doing in the next year....and I was just speechless regarding the stuff he has in store. And let me tell you folks, if all goes well then DEI may spring up a surprise and I mean a major surprise...which is presently in the negotiation stage. I wont reveal that right now...but Hopefully it will be out soon !.. And trust me this will be a major coup !

The other EVP titles which DEI has purchased outright rights are the entire Shakti Samanta classics ( aka all the ones released by EVP), Dharam Veer, Abhimaan , Pyar Hi Pyar, etc. ! ( all together 19 of them !). Not the entire EVP library though !

Got a e-mail from I weekly they will have Bees Saal Baad in 3-4 days. Can't wait to get this one, one of the better suspense
drama's from early 60's and of course classic tunes by Hemant Kumar including kahin deep jale and zara nazroon se kehdo ji.
