Are DEI-EROS dvds on sale ($5.99 and up) at IW and Indiancdstore are the same or similar in quality to the DEI dvds (which are considered by forum members among the best quality Indian moviedvds available) ?

Yep there are the same - these DVDs are the ones DEI authored for Eros in the early days of Indian DVD. Then Eros re-released these DVDs again making them inferior in quality in the process under their label Eros/B4U. There’s useful thread on the old forum that compared image quality between the DEI/Eros Eros/B4U here;

FAO sam

I bought deewar,major saab,khuda gawah for $5.99 each from IW last month.
No probs whatsoever and picture quality is excellent.

At these prices they are bargains!.
